The farmhouse is set on the outskirts of Karachi. The client Belongs to an extended family already living in the same city. They wanted an escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life to feel peace and beautiful nature.
The concept revolves around creating a serene and experiential space for the inhabitants and the client's desire to have a classical villa kind of exterior. The portal has been designed with a perforated roof, which lessens the visual weight and acts as a semi-open verandah.The portal may also be used as a stage in family functions.
The deliberately designed landscape with uniformity and balance also contributes to making a serene and relaxing space.
